My first Black Bear.

Congratulations on your blackie. I hope I have the same luck this coming week. I will be using my Renegade with the .58 cal Green Mtn barrel and PRB.
Also congrats on the doe. You should have enough meat to keep you the winter.
Did you save any of the bear fat and render it down for bullet lube?

Thanks to all for the congrats! I never thought to use the bear fat for bullet lube though I have seen it mentioned on some threads. I do love the CVA Wolf. Its so nice and compact and accurate as hell.

Congratulations- that doe looks like she is already sitting in a salad. Beautiful bear. I had a great chance at a whopper bear but Virginia decided to raise its non resident bear tags to 151 bucks so I couldnt swing the cost. I saw many more bears this hunting season then I did deer. Congrats again.
