Stuck Breech Plug
 

Got a T/C Encore .It was stolen last year during hunting season.But it was recovered last week.I was going to clean it ,But i guess laying around or who knows what for a year I could not get the breech plug out .Now I have stripped the ears off of the plug .Any suggestions.....................Thanks ,Swampdog

You' ll probably need to have it drilled out. Is the barrel still in good shape or is it rusted out? If it was fouled when it was stolen, it' s probably better to just buy a new barrel. Usually there' s not much chance of saving them then.:(
