How far apart are your POIs with different loads?
 

My TC Omega used to be very finicky. If I changed the sabot or gains of powder by 5gr I'd get a fairly significant deviation in POI. Since I am getting low on Deep Curls and my scope's windage and elevation adjustments SUCK, I wanted to see where other loads for bullets I had on hand would impact at 100 yards.

300gr Deep Curl HP, Harvester Short Black Sabot, 110gr BH209: Bullseye (zeroed for this load)
270gr Deep Curl SP, Harvester Crush Rib Green, 110gr BH209: Bullseye (slightly low and left)
250gr Barnes SpitFire T-EZ, Harvester Crush Rib Black, 110gr BH209: Low 1", Left 1"
250gr Scorpion PT Gold, Harvester Crush Rib Black, 90gr BH209: Low 1", Left 2"

I really don't know what happened to my gun but I can't complain! It very rare I will shoot at game past 100 yards…most shots are within 40.

What kind of variations do you typically see with your guns?

An inch or two (or three) difference in POI with different loads is not at all unusual in my experience.

My Endeavor encore in 50 caliber will out 105 gr. to 115 gr Blackhorn pretty close with Lehigh 250 gr, Shock Waves, and Gold dots all 250 gr. but when I go to the same bullet in 200 gr. it shoots 3 inches higher.
I tried some 140 and 135 grain loads with it and the poi was quite different but it grouped well at over 2300 fps.
With the 45 Prohunter it changes more for different powder loads and bullets.

I see I conveyed myself poorly. I'm used to seeing 5-6" difference in POI when I change almost anything. To have such relatively consistency among a wide variety of loads is pretty relieving since I only have a few 300gr DC's left.

Yes, its good that you are so close with your various loads mentioned. I would save the 300 DC's for hunting and the others for sighting/target.

I was out shooting my .45 a couple weeks ago shooting various bullets. Due to the varying charges and bullet weights I was getting as much as an 8" difference in POI from one to another.
I have noticed many times that when changing something with a load that I not only get a vertical difference but also a horizontal one. I guess that's just another one of those ballistic mysteries.
