Default New Dream Season

Spotted this rifle at a local store last winter. Told her i should buy it; they don't make them no more, but i don't need it. She say 'buy it'. We went out and looked at it; trigger was nice. Came home without it. A month later, looked at it some more. Went and looked at it early last summer. She say why didn't you buy it? 'I don't know' said I. Three months ago, i told her i was headed out to buy it, but turned around half way there. Two month ago, she asked if i was going to buy it. 'Yes, i believe i will' i said, but i didn't. When it started cooling off, i purchased the rifle. Many shots later, it seems to be a nice shooter, and nice to carry. With scope mounted this rifle is a tad lighter than the X7 with a 1X scope.

Can't decide whether to use this rifle during our hills rifle season, or use the breech loader.

First shot of the three, is from a cold clean barrel, and breech plug.

I hear the dream season replaced the X7. I'm partial to the X7.

I don't think so, but I don't like the looks. I'll send one to you when I'm done to try yourself.

Care to let the rest of the class in on that Grouse? They look absolutely identical to me.

I personally think the T/C is made better. But I honestly haven't spent much time with the LHR. Will see what he thinks when he can compare side by side.

I believe T/C dropped the GM barrel on the Strike so "made better" if highly questionable. The history of T/C's off center QLAs could be a big problem for some shooters.
