put a new barrel on and went to the range for some sighting in ,
using black horn powder ,250 gr. shock wave bullets in mag express sabots (the black ones)and CCI 209 primers.
wow did I ever get a good one . easily a 1MOA shooter
looking forward to the next time so I can take a few shots at the two hundred yard target, maybe even the three hundred .:s1:

Just using the Encore centerfire barrels prior?.... now ventured into muzzleloading?

Its always nice when a rifle tunes that fast.

made the first shot to 25yd ,it was on paper. then moved to 50 yd still on paper , adjusted to a 3inch high center hit at 50 yd then moved to 100 yd .
I use 9 inch paper plates for targets with a thumb tack in center . the first shot at the 100yd and the target fell , i'd hit the tack. ............I like hitting the tack
I then bumped up the powder charge and it still keeps a very tight group .
at that point I started to notice the recoil....... lol
tired some of the yellow sabots ,the gun likes the black ones abit better

Always loved the Encore platform rifles.

Trick out the frame for $40 and make it better and feel like a completely different rifle.
