rain quit , so back out I went. This time a little further back. I figure if the bullets are going to tumble then they should surely do so by 250 or 300. that's about the maximum I would shoot this bullet ,at game anyway.
the holes are a little funny looking but I believe its just because there is no backing on the paper. I do not think this bullet is tumbling. I may be wrong but that's my thoughts.

here is the 250 yard target , and remember , we are talking only 100 gr Blackhorn

then I shot at 300 yards. here are those two shots.

looking at the holes I think this bullet may very well be good in a 1:30

As i thought about this 215 gr 40 cal bullet seeming to shoot in a 1:30 45 cal gun the more i began to wonder if it would shoot in a 1:28 twist 50 cal gun. I have some 50 cal sabots for 40 cal bullets so next time out i am going to try that . If it shoots in both my 45 and a 50 then it will be a very versatile and very good bullet in deed for me . It would be so cool if if it did shoot in a 50 .

Wow that is some amazing accuracy. And I like how you tested it. The thing I note is while you suspect a slight yaw at lower velocities, the accuracy is still there. That 200 yard two shot group must have made you smile.

Semi - you are the closet winner...

They are hairy little devils

They are really tasty though and VERY healthy.

I roast them in the oven with salt, some spices and olive oil until crunchy. I also make homemade hummus with them.

I bet the deer hit that field hard.
