You can also build some great blinds from what you pick up off the surrounding forest floor. I did this (and still do) in the immediate area of where I want to hunt several months prior to season opener. My Mrs. and I have shot many deer from the ground blinds that we improvised. Just build them up high enough for you to tuck in and sit comfortably while waiting for the shot...

all about simple now.
do have a single person pop up blind. I will have a friend that has vision issues hunting with me, so I need to make sure it is a double.
have a few ideas, from cutting dead limbs and stacking them around to a full inclosed blind from scrap lumber that is laying around.
my favorite is pvc pipe but in 3 ft sections and just attaching burlap to them.
