I voted for the CVA QRBP as that is what I have now in the BH variety that is. I do have experience with a Encore plug, never had a ignition problem but plenty of blowback. The CVA not until I wiped the bore, once in the middle of shooting, then got some residue in the breech area.
I personally like the QR plugs, easier is better if it works. |

With the popularity of BH 209 now it's a shame the BP isn't included with the gun. The BP that comes in CVA's is made for pellets. Why should pellet users get a free ride? |

Yes, of course they want to sell us their stuff. What was I thinking?
Maybe BPI can buy out Western too. Then the world will be perfect. |
Along these lines is the fact that CVA totally abandoned all those folks that own V1 rifles with the hex breech plug. They are unable to purchase a plug that is reliable igniting Blackhorn. What about them?
Just now, i came home from mailing a hex plug that was modified to be reliable for burning Blackhorn. After years have passed, folks are still seeking to make their V1 rifles, Blackhorn compatible. |

Instead of the best BH209 plug like you said. I would say more like what's your favorite BH209 plug......

Well Muley that would be difficult - BPI doesn't even own BPI - there is a parent company above them that owns BPI.
