That's some mighty fine handgun shooting toytruck.

Is Mark Lynch still around and making his Hunterman boolits?
Thats pretty cool that his lead boolits at only 250gr didn't give you ignition issues with a HBCR sabot. Im assuming you have either Ron's modded plug or the Western BH209 plug? |
I can email him and ask

I tried triple seven for three shots prior to yesterdays shooting, an flash backs of crud rings came flooding back....I just kept on shooting with the blackhorn. :cool2: I bought these from Mark many moons ago and had them on hand, so thought I would give them a try. They are a real possibility also in this handgun, but I only have a few left now, so didn't want to commit to them for hunting. I wonder if these are the same bullets that Ed also makes?? I bought my first CVA last year. A Optima. I was so pleased with that one I bought another one. I now own three, I am getting on par similar accuracy results. CVA really does have a good thing going with these guns,

Toy - do you have it scoped. Either way that is very good shooting. I imagine with 70 gr of BH209 that it is quite a handful.
