Some old memories there.

Back when celebrities had a little class. And didn't need vulgarities to be funny.

I can remember a lot of things we see every day on the TV that when I was a kid were strictly taboo. And yes, the comedians of old were hilarious, and never uttered a vulgar word.

I remember watching Red Skelton every week. Then later the Smothers brothers, Jackie Gleason and Art Carney. Sometimes laughing so hard that my sides hurt.

I remember the show, but it was in black and white at my house :/

I remember those times very clearly. It seems that actors cared about America back then...not like they do today.
