but trying to pick just 7 firearms? MAN!!! That would be a tough one!
Now that's a topic for a whole new "what if" thread.

BPS
I could easily get by with 7 firearms (at least I think I could). From what I have now on hand they would be:
1. Rem 870 3 1/2" 12 gauge
2. Tikka T3 30-06
3. Savage .22 lr bolt
4. Custom stocked .54 percussion
5. T/C Hawken flintlock with GM LRH barrel
6. S&W 29 44 mag (8 3/8" bbl
7. S&W M&P40
Yeah, that should do it.

I have 3 Knights, all .50 cal. A Disc Elite, a Master Hunter and a Long Range Hunter, all have Lehigh Bare Primer breech plugs. I use the Elite as a back up and it has one whitetail buck to it's credit. The Master Hunter and Long Range Hunter have, since 2008, when I started using muzzleloaders for all my hunting, accounted for 2 Aoudad rams(one 26 inch and one 30 inch) , a Corsican ram, 5 mature WTs (19 pt, 2 10 pt and 2 8 pt); 1 Fallow buck, 16 feral hogs and several WT cull bucks and several fallow and WT does. Texas Parks and Wildlife surveys our low fence lease each year and tells us what age, sex and how many deer to take each year. Texas does not consider exotics "wildlife" and they and the feral hogs can be hunted year round. I recently purchased a .50 cal LHR Redemption and will add that to the list next season as soon as I get loads worked up.

TT, I would get rid of that .504 as well. You know all you need is that .451 GRIN

Interesting! In going with the traditions I've read on boards like this one, concerning the large volume of White Rifle owners that post their comments here, I have to ask this. Is your grandson large enough physically, shooting a White ML known for big-big (400-500 gr) conical bullet uses...... with big recoil that follows???

Or have the White Rifle ownership community found ways to shoot lighter powder/ bullet combinations in those 1:20s?

What an authoritarian Rifle brand it is / was..... once produced by ML guru Doc White. If there was a Muzzleloader Rifle Hall Of Fame, he would get immediately inducted.
