Where are you at on the Island? I have a friend who fishes out of Montauk each year and the times that I've went down there to fish with him I've always seen deer out on that end of the isle. From Riverhead east but most of the time they're in peoples yards. Doesn't look like much available land to hunt with the amount of people there are on L.I. :confused0024: BPS |
Im up on the north shore in Suffolk Cty and there is quite a bit of land to hunt ,this year they opened some state parks by me for archery and there is a good amount of DEC land out here in towns of Riverhead and Brookhaven. My archery hunt I do on a farm i have permission to hunt so I dont hit DEC land till special January season.December blackpowder hunt I go up to my clubs cabin in Greene Cty. Still plenty of hunting area by you..
