This is a newer one,with the breech plug you hand tighten.

Yes,screw under the grip cap. I removed it but it is like the stock is glued on. I even tapped it with a rubber hammer.

After you take the grip cap off, there is a allen head bolt screw that you will need to take out to remove the stock.
