Knight Ultra Lite
Hey guys, if some of you remember I have had a 3 year fight with a CVA Optima Pro. I couldn't get that thing to shoot an acceptable group (to me). Well this year I took the plunge and bought myself a Knight UL and started working up a load for it. To make the long story short, I went out yesterday and shot the following:
1. 250 gr Bloodline bullets 2. 110 gr of Blackhorn 209 powder 3. Winchester W209 primers 4. and finally, MMP 24 sabots. The results were a clean 3 shot group with all 3 bullet holes touching each other. After very little scope adjustment. I put those 3 bullets in a 1 inch circle at 100 yards. I have never seen a ML shoot this accurately. I'm a Happy, Happy, Happy man today. ![]() I just figured out how to post a picture on my own!!!!!!!! I really want to thank sabotloader for all of his advise. In fact he is going to try and post a picture of the target shortly!!!! Ray |
Nothing like a happy muzz shooter. Congrats.

Here is your target!! Tell us about it!!! That certainly is a nice target especially with a brand new rifle and a new scope that you have never used before. I know a lot of people talk about load development, but it looks like the load I suggested to you works just fine. ![]() mike |
Well, there''s not much to tell. The first three shots were 1" to the left of the bulls eye so I moved it 4 clicks to the right and that put me right on the money. Basically I did exactly what you suggested and wound up with great success. As I said, I have never owned a muzzle loader this accurate and with accuracy comes confidence!!!!!! I can't wait to get a whitetail in the crosshairs of that Redfield scope and let the smoke roll!!!!!

Knights are very boring, you just take them to the range, find the sweet spot and enjoy...
