Outers Choke tube and gun grease on breech plug?
would this be ok to use on my breech plug? I use it on my shotgun chokes and have never had one stick.

I have used Copper Anti-Seize grease on both choke tubes and breech plug. This is the Anti-Seize sold at automotive stores. It seems to work well.
It's been suggested at this forum that "lube free" is better for Blackhorn 209, so I'll be trying that. |
Should work no problem. I would check the BP after every 20 shots never the less.

thanks, just wanted to make sure before I started shooting today!

If you have any doubts, every ten shots or so, just back the breech plug out a turn and then turn it right back in. This breaks any carbon that might be hold it. I have used a lot of things to keep breech plugs from sticking.
