Sweet Cal!!! I have two Contenders, one G2 and one original. I Had 11 barrels, gut sold the .375 JDJ. That one really hurt to shoot a hunting round!!!

I love this wood I got from Georgia Jim:



I don't think he is in the business anymore, and that is a shame!

Thats funny that you posted that wood. Its the exact color that i have ordered for my .375 JDJ (silver frame). Going to get it from Tony's Custom Grips/Forends. My .375 doesn't kick too bad with the break installed on it. But I'm not going to lie, about 20-25 rounds into it my right hand goes NUMB. Can't feel anything for half a day. Yeah Jim is done, but Tony does a really good job. http://www.tonysforendsandgrips.net/

I checked out Tony's site and it is nice,but not as good as Georgia Jim's for sure. Shame he went out of business. I will have to get with Tony and see if he does wood for old model Contenders.
