Where to get a stock for a White?

A friend has a White muzzle loader. He says it's a Lighting model, but an online search reveals that may not be true as I don't see a Lighting model in 50 caliber listed. I only see a shotgun listed as that which it's not. Anyway, the stock cracked at the pistol grip and he was looking for a replacement. Does anyone have any idea on where to start looking? It seems like most of the replacement gun sites I normally shop with don't even list parts at all for Whites.

Doc white did make a white lighting, it's listed on his home page. Kind of a rare one at that too.

You could try Doc White or Steve Brown to see what they have. There was or still may be some listed on gun broker.

Some have repaired the area by inserting a rod then glueing back together if I understand where it's broken.

some guy on Gunbroker is selling a whole pile of new ones. Not sure if they fit this model?

My G-series whitetail suddenly came up with several hairline cracks in it a few years ago. I called Doc and got a laminated stock for fifty bucks. It made the gun quite a bit heavier, but it sure is pretty. The gun was never dropped, I dont know why the cracks popped up.

Sorry but I can't find them now. He had 10 or so, claimed they were new. I may be mistaken on where I saw the post. I'll let you know if I run by it again. He was in Washington State.
