Default Knight Super Disc with new scope

I put the Cabelas aniversary scope Leupold VX-3 on and sighted in today. I sighted the gun in dead on at 100 yards.

I sighted the ML dead on at 100 yards with the 230grn Lehigh/Bloodline prototype and 120grns of BH209 by volume. I shot this target at 200 yards to see how low it was shooting. Really happy with the group and the drop.

Very nice .120 gr Blackhorn is what I'm shooting in my 1:20 also
Except I don't have any bloodlines so I'm using 260 dead centers .
Good shooting there . Looks like a nice prairie gun for antelope

You mentioned a 400 yard Deer load. My knight Disc Elite with 145grns of BH209 by volume and the 200grn Bloodline shoots almost 2700fps. I believe 2670 is the average. It will do it bud I promise.

Grouse,

I have a Knight Disc rifle, but have never used it. Got some info from some guys on this site a few years back with regard to loads, cleaning procedures, etc. My gun is s 50 cal. Looks very similar to yours except black stock. I have a Leupold 4.5 x 14 with B&C reticle.

Looking for advise on loads. Will likely be traveling from my current home state of Montana to may old stomping grounds in Illinois in 2014 for a combo archery/muzz hunt on whiteys. Looking for some long range combinations.

I would suggest using 110 to 120grns of BH209 by volume. I would also suggest the 250grn Bloodine with Harvester short black sabot. The MMP HPH 12 might be better for that ML. I think your bore will be on the loose side.
