Thanks, 999. I have been getting so many good reports on the Black Diamond, I am keeping an eye peeled for one myself. I want the stainless too. Thanks again.

Ive owned 2 BD XR and 1 regular Black Diamond, a CVA Optima, 7-8 different Knight rifles, a Ruger 77/50, Traditions Pursuit XL and a Renegade.... the BD`s with 240 gr. XTP `s would outshoot all of them except for a couple of the Knights and it shot just as good as them...they only rust if you dont clean them when and like they should be and the triggers on all of mine were around 2.5-3# and broke clean w/no creep..
Other then being a bit of a pain to clean I believe they are one of the best muzzleloaders period, for the money maybe the best.
