That Was Easy
Last Saturday was the Archery opener here in TN. After passing on the only 2 I seen (2 Black Angus cows) I packed up a little early and decided to check the zero of my Genesis.
I rotate out the guns I hunt with and normally pick only one gun to hunt with each year. This year it is going to be my Thumbhole/Laminate Genesis. I don't shoot this gun often because to be honest it's pretty boring to shoot. It's clean, comfortable, absorbs recoil well and extremely accurate. I had checked my records and the last time I had recorded that I shot it was almost 2 years ago.
I threw 3 down range, chuckled, and said to myself, "If everything in life went that well." I cleaned it back up and it probably won't be shot again until something 130 or better comes by me. I would say I'm ready for Nov 2nd, but apparently I've been ready for over 2 years now

Good shooting. I think you should have sighted it in a little high at 50 yards. That's what I like to do anyway. I always like mine dead on at 100 which puts it a little high at 50. It's strange that I do though, because I've never taken a 100 yard shot at a deer. That's mainly because one has never presented itself to me since I've been using a scope on a muzzleloader.
