For what its worth.

Which probably isnt much to anyone but me. I started this project last year but it wound up being dragged out til this year. I have been wanting to get a White .451 shooting out to 200 yards. Problem is there a big rainbow trajectory. I put a Nikon BDC 250 scope on the super 91. ( should work with the Knight 1:20 also)
I finally got the scope drop completed

load 90 gr 777
460 gr No excuse bullet
rem.#11 primer

zeroed at 100 yds.
1st BDC 120 yd
2nd BDC 140 yds
3rd BDC 160 yds
4th BDC 190 yds
post 220 yds.

So with some practice it should be a 200 yard gun with no problem. I'm going to try the same load with the 1:20 Knight and see what happens.

That's pretty cool. I would like to see the results on a nice buck. I have a .451 and I too noticed that if you sight in for say 50 yards.. your a few inches low at 100. Those big chunks of lead just like to drop.

How many inches do you think that thing falls from 100 to 200?

i never figured it exactly, but it appeared to fall roughly 2 feet from 100 to 200 yards.

BTW try some BH209 with the 460gr in the Knight and see what you think. I used between 60 and 80gr loads. The ES spreads were excellent (19-25fps) with veggie/wool wads but i ran out of time to test for accuracy. 80gr was pushing them in the 1440fps range max so its on the edge of too fast for pure lead. IIRC 60gr was a little over 1200fps. Ignition was very spontaneous with the Leigh conversions too.

Sorry im weak in DWBeese so the last part i had to type in Engrish. :D

I will have to give that a try. Thanks. I dont have a chrono but I think I was probably somewhere around 1300 to 1400 fps. Which is max.
