shooting 90 grains rs pyrodex .452 300 grains hollow point xtp's in harvester crushed rib sabots....

I this point too much people at the range I was getting hit with shells(ak47) lol looks like I need one more range time to move my group over...I'm really likeing the knight. although it is a pain getting the 11 cap out after shooting, I got a new breach plug and nipple i'm heading to Maryland hunting on the 16th of oct I can't wait.....I shot a blem bullet (shockwave type) I got from midland and it grouped the same the shot at 6 o'clock was the one after I got hit with a couple shells lol

I haven't tried any other sabots I got these and they seemed to work in my black diamond and my white mountain carbine...they aren't really tight easy to push down I'll have to try the one you posted, thanks

I think this is the farthest I've ever shot a muzzleloader i'm likeing the knight....it be fun to see if I can match the groups from the knight with my black diamond xr .50

I do not shoot a XTP but I do shoot a 300 grain Deep Curl or .458-300 Bloodline.

For myself I use the HPH-24 - the 'Crush Rib' is to loose in both of my 85's. Certainly does not mean it is to loose in yours though. I guess I am just a bit surprised that you need a 'Crush Rib'

I'm going to speculate that you're using CCI or "Winchester" (made by CCI) caps stripercrazy. If so, Remington caps will likely solve that problem.

its got a scope 2x-7x...semi, yes cci....sabotloader i'm going to try that sabot next time I order bullets......is it a Hornady Sabot or another co....looking around it looks like a mmp I think I bought my brother some

Try the .452 300 Grain XTP with the MMP Short black sabot and 100 Grain Pyrodex FFG or 777.

Sort of hard to Not get good accuracy with that load.
