Works fine on my Firefox.
Cool. |
Well, that's too bad, i don't know enough to try something different.

However, what i think is happening is Quicktime wants to play the video. However, you are browsing with Explorer. Microsoft doesn't cooperate with Apple much, so Explorer is fighting Quicktime. To paraphrase Cassius in Julius Caesar: The fault, dear Ron, is not in our browser. But in our poster, that we are videoless. |
Hey Ron, you size your proj's and use red devil lube?
|
No, i don't have the equipment.
|
Ron what brand of camera are you using?
thanks JW |
Camera is a panasonic. It fits in pocket, and i take it with, when i hike, hunt, fish. Dust can get inside, and it quit working, and required repair. It has a 16X optical zoom, which is fun. Dust is a real issue with a camera in my pocket; next one may need to be waterproof so to keep dust out. Last antelope season, i carried the brand new camera in pocket for 2 weeks, and it was full of dust, and wouldn't hardly work any more, and barely took one picture.
The long zoom is nice, but in all probability, will have to be replaced with a more tighter camera with a shorter zoom. All brands of pocket camera have the same features as this one; it seems to me, none is better or worse, unless this one happens to be worse. Nowaday, i carry the camera in pocket in a zip lock bag. This seems to help some, the camera has worked for months. However, i detest the plastic bag about as much as a plastic rifle stock, or t shirt. Hopefully there is a better camera available next. |
What happens is with out getting too technical. Even though its a MOV or even in this case a M4V file, some "players" don't always support them correctly due to slight difference it how it was recorded. Even going HD and above about 640x480 at 30fps can cause problems with some players. MOV being one of the worst for me, I use strictly MP4 when ever posible.
This is not too much of a problem with Win7 or Win8. I can get nearly anything to play back with minimal effort. I found the problem with mine. I have two different play back programs (i paid for) and they cause a minor conflict with VLC player.. One works fine with the file and the other doesn't. The one that doesn't causes VLC player to mess up. VLC usually plays anything i throw at it and its VERY adjustable. The other link also helped greatly and was my biggest problem. It did not want to redirect to the M4V from the MOV. thanks again. :D |
