Are you having trouble getting your Omega Z5 to shoot a good group? Try this
I tried many bullet/powder combinations and still couldn't get a decent group. Then I tried this, it worked

great tips. just picked up a Thompson center omega today...

good tips... fortunately my Z5 will shoot everything except PowerBelts. It does not like them. The barrel twist seems to shoot sabots best though I realize there are exceptions.

It's not the twist, but the QLA that's not straight. Common problem with TC guns and conicals.
right on... thank you for explaining that to me. I did not realize this. |
Thanks for watching!

That's a simple tip.
The Z5 was my first MZ. I still have it but rarely shoot it. I floated the barrel by cutting the lids of yogurt cups to fit the bottom of the lug pockets and did a little sanding on the barrel channel. This gun is extremely accurate. It's actually boring to shoot because it just plugs them into the same hole all day. |
