Til archery antelope. Time to get the bow out and dust off the ghillie suit. Saw this guy today. Only had my iphone so the pics look really small. I also found a nice big buck that I hope to be able to sneak upon, but right now he is keeping himself quite a distance away. But even getting this close to this guy got me antsy for the season to rolll around. the pics are small as I said. He was just standing there. Then he took a whiz, looked at me and then trotted off. I didnt want to spook him before the season so i left him alone . I reallly need a camera with a telephoto lens.:s4:

He took a final look back and I left.

Hopefully you will draw them tags. Myself, i also hope to draw the tags. If i do make it, will travel through Wanblee, so won't be too near your place, but do plan to camp where i did in the past.

That GPR should work just dandy for you. My rifle will be the X7 with a 1X scope to compensate for not being able to focus on the front sight.

Depending on wind, my plan is to go in from the far West edge, so hopefully i won't get in your way...............

Seems that is the way it usually works . Either that or I spend 4 hours or more crawling to within 60 or 70 yards , which is way out of bow range for me , then they take off and stop a couple hundred yards away . After a few times of that I start looking forward to rifle season where I can get revenge with the Knight .

This is the last time i suggest using one of yer goats fer a decoy. Some coloring, and there you go..... a huge Pronghorn within 20 yard.
