My prohunter 50 cal is not going to get here until mid to end of aug and I want to try it out for Colorado elk. Looking for a Colorado legal conical/powder combo so I don't have to spend to much time to find an accurate load. Any help is appreciated.

I never could get conicals to shoot good in my pro hunter . I hope you have better luck . If not the Thor is an option or FPB's . Hope you have a successful hunt

Mine shoots 350 grain FPB into a very nice group with 90 grains of Blackhorn. I have gotten a one inch group c-c but most are 1.5. My gun is an Endeavor which is a variety of prohunter.

Thor 300 grain, shooting 110 gr. of BH 209, 1 inch at 100yds, 2.5 at 200 yds
