Liquidating...

Well, I'm downsizing my muzzleloader collection to 1 for this year. My wife is pregnant and while we budgeted for a lot of stuff, we didn't anticipate her being on bedrest and unable to work at all for half the pregnancy. Bills are stacking up quick and so yeah. I have a few of them sold locally, but still have the redemption that I haven't even shot yet. I just posted it in the classifieds. I'm keeping my .45 Contender, as that one was given to me by my father in law and it's been in his family for awhile, so can't really sell it.
This kind of sucks...

That does suck SuperKirby. But you gotta do what you gotta do. Wishing you guys the best of luck with the pregnancy.

SuperKirby

I have been following along for quite awhile now and I do feel for you but you have made a family decision and that is really important. Things happen for a reason - best of luck...

mike

Check your pm..

For the sake of the family you have to do what you have to do. I think we all understand this. I really am serious of reducing my inventory also, but every time I pick a rifle and decide this will be the one, I talk myself out of it. Now the worst part.. I found another rifle I really want.

SuperKirby
PM me with price on redemption.

I wish I had the money. I'd grab it in a minute.

Since you got the wood version. :D

Good luck selling it.

SuperKirby 04-14-2013 10:59 AM

Thanks.
I really really hate selling it, especially having not shot it. On the other hand I suspect it will be a great shooter so maybe it would be harder to sell it if I'd shot it.
On the plus side, I still have gun to hunt with this year, and I can maybe try again next year or maybe even later this year. Who knows. But for now this is what I have to.

I understand completely. I was faced with the same problem with the MR.

Funny, but the MR was my baby for awhile.
