Accura V1

Well the ground was to wet at the farm to put out lime so a 32 shot range outing was had.
Started at 50 yards and tore one big hole. Then went to 100yds with close to the same results.
The gun has a Burris FF II mounted on it and when I went to 150yds I used the first line below center for all holds.. The second target the first 2 shots were for the upper square. I wasnt sure of the out come with the hold. Then moved to center bull. The first target was the last four shots taken. For shooting off the deck rails I am very happy. Never cleaned the bp until I was finished and never had a miss fire. Whatever Carlos(Ed's Gun shop) did to the plug it functions perfect. Being a T/C man this V1 is a shooter.. Total investment in the gun below $400

To me it seems you may do even better if you were to use the smooth sabot in lieu of the crush rib. Naturally i cannot feel the fit in my hand of your rifle, just going by how my old Accura felt whilst loading.

I think you can do better also, I dont know what your load is or your bullet/sabot combo but with My V1 at 150yds I can put them all inside that 4" square with no problem, most times I get a 1 1/2" group, and that's a bad day.
I use a 110grs of pyro rs and a 240gr xtp mag with a mmp hph-24 sabot, all my CVA's shoot this load extremely well.

I think the load was right above the pics.

It looks like if the POA was kept the same for all 5 shots at 150, they would have made a nice 5 shot group. The Harvester smooth black for under 300gr bullets or HPH-24 might even tighten it up some more unless your barrel is really tight.

GM, you are correct about the hold. I need to buy a better set up to shoot from. The old railing just dosent cut it. I will try the smooth sabots next time. The Burris scope with ballistic plex is really nice.
