I read the dictionary once, but it was boring. It had no plot.

I beg to differ Muley. The dictionary does indeed have a plot. It's right after "plosive" and before "plotage". You just didn't read far enough. I suspect you got to "abandon" in the A's and thought that would be a good idea.
