I emailed the company and explained that I thought it would be a lot better for their business if the dealers they had listed on their dealer list actually had the guns. I told them that both shops I talked to had no intention of ordering any of them. He responded that they hadn't been shipped out yet, but should be soon. He said they were surprised at the number of first edition's that were ordered and are still trying to get them all shipped out, and so are farther behind then they wanted to be on the regular production rifles. He also said the dealer list was based off shops that had already placed orders with them. I asked how that worked when I had owners that were telling me they weren't getting any. He said he was going to talk to his area rep and see if he could find out what was going on.
I'm curious to see if I hear any more from them.
Still not kosher because they are listed on the website as stocking dealers . That evidently is not the case.

Look how long it took knight to roll out the mountaineer. Just like with knight though I think the whole.... the response has been overwhelming thing is a standard sales response to make you think, it is in so much demand.

they have been very fast at getting responses to any questions, I have had.

I hope they really are doing great and are selling way more guns than they anticipated. It seems like the muzzleloader market has kind of grown stagnant with not really any new designs.
I would like one but I'm real hesitant to buy from a brand new, unproven company. The fact they seem to be having problems getting them in stores doesn't help.

I haven't looked at their sight lately, but are there any range reports on the gun yet?

Is it accurate?

Considering the barrel maker I would have absolute confidence that the gun will be very accurate .

+1 with a green mountain barrel, accuracy is the least of my worries of buying one.

Never jump on a gun that's in a vertical position.

Come on guys, I'm trying to behave myself. Don't want to get sent to the corner so to speak again. I didn't like that.
