Chat Stuff
 

Anybody no how to get rid of the chat stuff in the bottom righ corner of the screen?

click on the people here box to expand it, upper right hand corner you will see a gear. click on it, you will see turn off

Yeah it's a cool feature, but kind of noisy when you just want to post in the forum

Far as I'm concerned the chat room should be separate from the forum . I got no use for the chat room .

Now that I know it is not some spam/advertisement thing I will probably use it.

The red circle will never go away. It is part of the software programming for this web site.
Just keep it as "Log Off" and you'll not be bothered.

If you use Mozilla Firefox and have Adblock Plus, you can hide it. ;)

Right click on it and choose "block image"

Why do we even need to havethe interference... If someone wants to go to chat go back the menu and choose chat!

I am Jewish? - Never knew that and at my age I thought I was getting to know it all - and like any other forum you can't please everyone.
So at least you know you have the option to turn it off and it puts a little gray box with a little red cirlce in the box in your far bottom right corner...at least that is how I see it...but with age you'll forget its there.

It is an option to use if you want to talk live with anyone and you can make your own Chat room - invite who you want, when you want and ignore other users. Don't like it - don't ues it....

Ps - One could have a Chat Room Named 'Knight' and then could create a Chat room named 'CVA' or even a 'White' for Semisanes.... - not trying to start anything ya know - just saying....

I agree. It's easily done and the tiny box is no big deal. Works for me anyway.

I've never used the chat feature. Maybe I'm missing something. I could open a chat with Muley and ask him directly "Are you absolutely nuts?" :s2:
