have the stock, going to sand and refinish it soon. an fast twist GMB 45cal barrel in wait for a new home. went with a second hand lock, hope it holds up better then the second cva lock did. (reminds me, I still need to trim the sear to work better with the trigger). tang, and some small parts on order from thegunworks.com, TOW and Dixie did not have what I was looking for. bid on a trigger guard on fleebay, plz let my recent luck on there hold out. (if not , going to call a place about 2hours from me that has the best prices on cast trigger guards and just shape one to fit).

going to put a cut to fit recoil pad on it. I can find the wadge pins local for pretty cheap.

it is going to be a fun project.

it is going to be a little while until it is 100% of what I wanted on the gun, but it is going to I hope in the next 2months test some powder and some lead. may even scope it. ;)


oh btw, does anyone know the size screws I would need to mount the hardware. did not order any because I was being picky over the price and going to let my locally owned hardware store get the money on that

I have a SS GMB 1/28" long range 45cal barrel. I think a nice silver scope would look nice on it. real nice dark cherry stain or even a ebony stain to make the stock look really black, you know plastic stock.

Good luck with the project Corey. I've envisioned a project almost identical to that for a few years. Essentially build something real close to IdahoRon's Red Hot Renegade. I love that gun.
I'm interested to see how it turns out. Post lots of pics along the way.
