Any Difference

between GOEX and GRAFS 3F Black Powder? If so any advantages one over the other?

Yes, they are made by different companies.

Goex is made in the US, and is the last US made BP. It's a good consistent powder.

Graf's powder is bought in bulk from Schuetzen which is made in Europe. Then put in Graf's bottles. It's different in that the charcoal is made from Alder wood. The same as Swiss powder. It's not in the same class as Swiss though. Swiss is the best BP you can buy right now, but you pay for it.

The Alder charcoal is suppose to make a cleaner burning powder. It does in Swiss, but I see no difference between Graf's/Schuetzen and Goex. Graf's and Goex have similar power. Swiss is the same power as T7.

I have shot a lot of both Graf's and Goex. Also Wano and Schuetzen. All are very good powders. As for fouling, they are pretty equal. As is their power. So the only real difference I ever found is price and availability. For a while, Goex was hard to find. It has something to do with an explosion in a factory. So I went to Grafs. I liked it so much I stuck with it. The Graf's, Schuetzen and Wano are made by Wano. And the Schuetzen powder I purchased, the American pour spout did not fit tightly on the plastic jugs. So I have to pour the powder into a Graf's or Goex can.

Thanks guys, guess I'll stick with GOEX being I can easily get it and there seems to be no real advantage of one over the other.
