I am a Ruger Fan! And I have an M77. But it is not a muzzleloader. Its a 7mm Magnum. Friends and I call her Ma Bell. Because she can reach out and touch someone real easy.

I always liked the feel of the M77. Very well balanced. Keep us posted IF you ever shoot it. You must have a gun room bigger then mine!!

I'm in the process of working a bunch of test loads. I will be working with the 165 gr. and 180 gr. Not sure what powders I will load with. I like RL22 and IMR4831. Will let you know how she did. I did get to shoot a few rounds the other day with some factory 150 gr. JSP bullets. I was amazed at the lack of monster recoil I thought I would feel. She is a nice shooting rifle.
