I had the same problem with my Knight when I went from lead conicals to sabots. It was caused by plastic fouling. I switched to power belts and problem solved.

One shot dead center, second close, third, forth, fifth, who knows.

Deer Hunter 21,

I' m glad you' re getting such good accuracy from your CVA that' s excellent and much better than I would have expected. Sounds like you' ve come-up with the right gun, load and bullet combination. Good luck on getting a monster now that you' ve got your gun squared away!

Big Buck,

I' m surprised that the Powerbelts are shooting well in your gun most of what I' ve heard is that the Knights tend to shoot sabots much better than Powerbelts.

All I' ve ever shot out of my MK-85 has been knight bullets and sabots with 90 grains of Pyrodex. Nothing, but perfection for me. No problems every time.
I' ll never change that load.

I have to second that Cyrus...Nothing but pure goodness out of my Knight MK-85 Stalker. 90 gr. of Triple 7 (use to use Pyrodex P) and Hornady 260gr. XTP sabots. Works well for me.
