Well I got a package today. Lots of bullshop conicals, wads, breech plugs ,springs, and misc. stuff. But the best part was the other 2 items.
The first one is the Bull barrel Bison (barrel says White Armstech Whitetail) I mentioned in a previous post.
It was a 504. barrel blank that doc drilled to .451. Bob Bowers black iced it, bedded, and dipped it. Until I find a different trigger it has a Knight trigger in it. The bold trigger is missing. The gun has never been fired and is pretty much a one of a kind. It also needs a ramrod. here's a couple pics. A real shorty.:D






also in the same box was a White Thunder 12 guage

Hasn't that trigger got there yet? I hope it is not lost in the mail system someplace... nevermind you just told me...

yes , it got here but it didn't work. The sear is to short. It won't stay cocked, so for now I will keep the Knight trigger in it.

Oh wow - am interested in the 12 Ga.
Are you using that for Turkeys?

actually I'll probably never use it. I bought a package deal that included 4 Whites , bullshops, and bunch of other stuff. The shotgun was part of the package deal.

That White 12 gauge will out shoot any modern 12 gauge for range. I shoot a Knight TK2000 12 gauge and its good ... easy to 40 yards for me. But there is a documented case I read about, verified by his hunting partner 62 yards and he killed a turkey. For a shotgun.. that is a long long shot.

That sure is a nice rifle you have there. I bet you can't wait to shoot it. Don't let them short barrels fool you. My Model 97 Whitetail Hunter in .451 is a real shooter. And all I use is a 2-7x32mm 3200 Busnell Elite scope.

Chet, does that rifle have a 20 inch barrel or a 22 inch barrel. It looks like a 20 to my old eyes.

It's a 20 inch , a shorty but no ultra light ;)
