Sort of on topic. Afterall it started out as a black powder cartridge. My newly acquired toy: a .45-70 double rifle by Baikal imported by Remington.
Can't wait to shoot it this weekend.

Actually Semi it ain't heavy at all. Probably in the neighborhood of 7 - 7 1/2 lb. I bought it more as a remembrance. It was my cousin's who recently passed away. His brother asked if there were any guns I wanted to buy before his wife puts them to auction. I wanted several but couldn't afford them all. I picked this one cause I thought it was really different. I had shot it last year up at the cabin and put two bullets side by side offhand at 40 yds.

Very nice rifle. I am sure it will give you much pleasure.
