Beartooth Magnum

My wife is finally thinking about muzzleloader hunting w/ me. In PA we can use an inline for our early ML season (1 week). I' m looking for a fairly inexpensive inline for her.

Anyone have/shoot this ML yet? I saw it in Cabelas for $139 w/ scope for $199.

Might want to look into a Huntsman as well. It' s in that price range too. From what I heard, it' s better quality.

As the Beartooth is a cheapened version of the CVA Optima, that is one scary thought.

Having trouble getting it to group. Went out the other day with it for the first time. Gonna try it again today at closer ranges and see how I can do. Grouping around 8" at 100yd. 90 and 80gr 777 w/ 295gr PowerBelts. I haven' t decided if it' s the scope or the gun.

This is difficult for me. I' m used to sub-MOA off a bench with my deer rifles.
