I'll have to talk to the local gun shop owner, he used to make his own bullets and copper plate them. I think that would be a real nice touch to that bullet.

You could use some of Muley's copper colored fingernail polish.

MD the plastic that does not stay on the bullet does not affect the stability of bullet length to twist.
I will be interested in the expansion of that bullet if you do any penetration tests.
