had a chance to look over it. Holy mother! I called muley and my mouth was flying a 100mph LOL. This is one sweet muzzy! Perfect with a scope, super light, trigger i will be measuring here in a bit. Before cleaning and after cleaning notes i will take. The weather guard finish is NOTHING like ceracoat! Ceracoat is rough feeling, this stuff on the MR is smooth and feels great.

Anyway, i need to get to cleaning it.

holy!!! First pull out of the box, 27oz, second pull dropped to 25oz.

I'll take the stock off now and clean all that nasty oil out and retest. Hopefully it will stay the same because I dont want it much lighter than that.

Wow! It's only suppose to go down to 3lbs. Yours is much better.

I love light triggers. Even for hunting.

hope you bag a big one with it. I'm sure it will be nice to lug up them hills I saw from your trip photos. I'm sure it will be a shooter. I guess the recoil is what I'd be interested in hearing about. thats the only reason I like heavy guns.;)

Its got a new recoil pad on it and to be honest, im not sure if i like it or not, its much harder than the crushzone pads. We'll see, i just got the guts all sprayed clean. Makes me shake my head when people say all you have to do is wipe down a new muzzleloader and clean the bore and its ready. I always get aluminum shaving out of frames when i clean them. Take the time and clean them the RIGHT WAY!
