CVA & Conicals
I found a winning combo here! I will order the Lee S&W 500 mold after hunting season. I used 70gr Blackhorn209, CCI 209M Primer, 454 grain S&W 500 Conicals and a lubed Veg wad at 50 yards.
First shot was on a clean bore and of course the next Two were grouped excellent.
Next bullet mold I buy will also be an Accurate Molds .500" smooth sided bullet " going to knurl it up" in 325 grains. Going to work more on the design during hunting season and see if i can get it made with a round nose on it instead.

Not bad. I seem to have noticed you have had a preference for big lead bullets lately. There is no need for them around here, no game big enough to warrant using them. I used to use them but the punishment to my shoulder and ballistics they deliver make it not worth using them. A 240 grain anything will work just fine around here and give you a much flatter trajectory.
