Peep sight thoughts
 

Did a great deal of shooting today, so much in fact I got irritated LOL. Just to much going on and it started getting to me.

I ended up having to shim the williams peep sight because half of the peep was hanging over and so shimming it made everything perfect.

My Truglo globe ring has a black bang of aluminum around it and so it was getting in my way at 100 yards and covering my target, it is probably fine for in the field hunting but at the range, it was not acceptable and so i put a factory front sight on which worked perfect.

I was cutting holes all day long while tuning in the peep. The Thors shoot the same and so I can practice with powerbelts until hunting season comes along and then switch to my Thors.

I don't understand this. Look at where I had it set with no shims. It was dead on at 75 yds, but I only had 80gr of BH 209. I'm sure I would have been a bit high at 100yds with 110gr. It's right in the middle of the adjustment for elevation.

Took it out to 70 yards with the truglo globe sight after i filed down that pesky aluminum hood that surrounded it. 100gr BH209 250gr Powerbelt Aerolites. 5 shot group, my first 3 were great but after the barrel started to get hot, 2 went high.
