Think I got it
 

I need to do more shooting to double check but I think I got the omega scope with BDC figured out for the .410, 410 gr no excuse and 90 gr pyrodex. I couldn't get a 100 yd zero to work but with 3 1/2 inches high at 50 I get a 125 yd zero , between first and second circle for 150 , bottom of third circle for 175 and bottom of last circle for 200 . A total of about 22 inches of drop it appears . I still need to keep shooting but this is as close as I've been able to get to be able to use the BDC scope

Hopefully that will work for you for the rifle season. What i now wonder, is if one can get a cds type dial for the Nikon 1X scope. Months ago i was on Nikon website, and noticed they sell engraved dials for specific loads for their scopes, but didn't think in terms of a 1X scope back then. Now, it appears we are going to be able to use the 1X scope for muzzy hunting.

I been thinking about picking up a 1x scope every since I read the proposed change.

When North Dakota, and Nebraska changed their regulations to allow 1X scope, i started looking on eBay. It wasn't long, and i luckily won a low bid, that was high bid, on a Nikon. Looked at it yesterday; it seems nice. Hopefully it will get a chance to show me how it works soon. One can remove and replace the elevation dial. It may be that an engraved dial can be purchased??

The clicks are 1/2 moa, so i am not sure if Nikon can provide an engraved dial. I guess i should go to the website and check it out when i find time. Them engraved dial on the Leupold work great! The simple crosshair and the cds dial are deadly at all ranges, as long as the bullet doesn't slow to the speed of sound. The 40 caliber bullet, which can't be used for muzzy hunting, has been accurate out to 375 yard. 300g 45 caliber bullet are accurate out to about 275 yard. A 1X scope should allow shooting out to 150 yard with no problem.

Sounds like the perfect setup for a Refuge hunt!:biggrin:
