Default Leupold scope

This may be in the wrong place but i thought i would get more replies.

A guy i know wants to sell his leupold vx-1 2-7x33 shotgun/ muzzleloader scope with a heavy duplex for $150.. just wondering if this is a good deal or is it too expensive. Its going to go on a remington 700ml.

Thanks.

That scope is $210 new at OpticsPlanet.com, with free shipping. It has good reviews there. Sounds like you would be getting a pretty good deal if the scope is in good shape.

VX-I or VX-1?

The VX-1 is updated quite a bit and is equal to the old VX-II.

I can't answer that for you.

I've owned the VX-I, VX-1, and VX-2. I thought the Weaver K4 new at $145 had better glass.

You could get a konus pro, they were given rave reviews by some and even compared to Leupolds!!!

Seriously, Leupolds are just average until you get to the upper models. Like you have.
