Or do like I do and buy a bunch of cheap (inexpensive) muzzle loaders. But what ever you plan to do I will wager that your first will not be your last. Welcome to the forum.

That's is so true. I now have many needs I never knew existed. It is addictive but I need to do something. This is a perfect hobby for me. I can mess around in the shop anytime and shoot when the weather is good. Plus, I get special hunting privledges for my handicap of using these " primitive " weapons.

The T/C Firehawk is one quality rifle to say the least. I have two of them, one in .32 and one in .58 cal. (talk about opposite ends of the spectrum)! I have a 3x9 Simmons on the .32 and a 3x9 BSA on the .58 and they both shoot great! The .32 shoots nickel sized groups at 35yds. with a PRB and the .58 shoots 2-3" groups at 70yds. with a PRB. I have tried the big .58 Maxi-ball conical but it's PUNISHING to shoot!!! I left both of mine set up for #11 caps as original and I have never had a problem with either rifle.
