bears are back
 

first one came today into the food plot area and made a mess :rant: Dumped all my water buckets too. I swear i hate these damn bears, its a freakin ugly one too! Looks like a skunk with all the blond hair down its back

MD, I've been seeing a lot of bears this year. Seeing them on my trail cams, during walks and I almost hit one with my truck on Tuesday. And this time of year the boars are looking for sows without cubs so you're most likely to see them now.

yeah this one is a female. I think its the same sow that was here last year with the cub. Thick curly blond hair.

Make a nice bear rug.

That looks like the full mount I got in Idaho back in '89. Blonde with cinnamon legs and face.

Bear tallow makes a great patch lube.

best picture yet! Drinks a ton of water though, may run some 55gallon drums out back too refill my stock tank, it finishes off the buckets and then goes to my stock tank and drains it.

She's just being a bear. Probably not much water in that desert where you live. :love:

no not much at all, maybe some at the well sites but thats not good to drink.

She is one goofy looking bear. Looks like she has a bare ass. Hey that could be her name. Bare Ass Bear!

And her nickname is Babs.

How about archery tag?

check the DOW website and see what they have for archery, I will look in my booklet and see if they hace OTC for bear.

Archery or muzzy. Either is fine. I will check DOW and see what I can find out

both are open to OTC bear tags but they are limited amounts. I see more bears during july/august so archery IMO would be the best time I think. They go right to my water tank and drink from there.

crap! it starts sept 2-30th. I will be gone the 6th-18 and then in new mexico the 21-27. I'll have to see what i can come up with Chet.

You have 4 days in the beginning, and 3 days at the end. It's in your back yard.

Also found the only squirrel in our area in my stock tank, drowned. Damn bears and crows drank all the water in the buckets and so he went to the tank and fell in.

Most of the squirrels in your part of CO are beautiful animals with tufted ears and a two tone gray body.

A NEW critter!! Now i know where all the kittens have been going LOL.

2 more BIGGER Buddies showed up for water! Damn, this is the month for animals LOL.
