darn it semi, you got my think I want to do a new project

I canceled my wood stock build for my win apex (cva kodiak). just don't have the time, money for the right tools, or the wood working skills for it.

since i picked up my mossberg tactical 22, i am thinking of doing an tactical muzzleloader. trirail, bipod, pistol grip, adjustable stock.

1) I can pick up a h&r or rossi, some gunshop still have some in stock. ati makes everything for both. (darn primer holders) would have to find the bp conversion.

2) wait till walmart does there end of season clearance on muzzleloaders and pick up a muzzleloader cheap and try to convert the ati h&r/rossi or shotgun conversion over to fit. (if they carry anything this year)

Somehow "tactical" and "muzzleloader" don't sound right in the same sentence to me. :s2: Just not my cup of tea. But if it's yours, go for it. My advice would be to do a lot of planning and work out all of the details for the build (including the parts needed, how they would go together, and what the cost would be) before you commit any funds to the project.

Better not get in a firefight with that `cause you can't reload without a ramrod. :s2:

I think you should do the wood.

one of these days I will muley, the wood stock project is not 100% canceled. just a few years on the back burner now. just getting good and hope to be good enough wood out of the way and in to hands that may need them right now.

Corey, I like your idea of thinking, I've the same idea but with a folding stock for a .32 rifle which is with a friend. He is building a .303Brit into a inline for me, I think the folding stock will just be the final touch as I want to scope it also.
Guess the Heaven's gates will not be open for me, tactical muzzleloader with a scope, nooo way!!
