Sorry about the "Toby Bridges Exposed!!!!" post guys. I guess I didn't realize he was conisdered to be a joke by most serious muzzle loading enthusiasts years ago! (http://www.go2gbo.com/forums/index.php?topic=102434.0)

I had read several of his articles over the last few years and really thought he knew what he was talking about because some of the stuff he says does make sense. I guess that's why I was shocked to see so much evidence to the contrary in Randy Wakeman's article. Again, my apologies, I was not trying to bash anyone, just trying to make folks aware.

You'll find wakeman on that forum as well from long ago when he was a greenhorn, hes not welcome there as well.

You should not be apologizing in my opinion. You supplied facts to your information and thats what's important. The people who think it's old news should ignore it and not post. There are many new hunters and shooters alike looking at all these forums.

You don't think new hunters should know the truth? We learn from history.

Actually I think it was the CVA bashing that was more offensive to people than what you posted about Toby Bridges. Anyway, welcome to the forum. There are some guys on here that will go out of their way to answer any questions you might have.

Welcome Jim.Beam. Hang around here awhile and you will get more and better info than about anywhere else you look. You might even enjoy a chuckle or two. After a while you'll even be able to separate the good stuff from the BS. :s2:

Good to read both sides of the story. Even if it's hard to believe either one of them.

No apologies necessary. Many who claim to be ML experts say that only because they had fired a ML or two or hunted with one a few times. I believe the guys on here are THE muzzleloading experts. All of us have something to share with younger or less experienced shooters. There is more experience on this forum than any I have ever seen. (FYI - The archery forum is good too)

He changes his stance on things as much as our Kenyan born President! I'm not pro-wolf, but what I am for is calling a spade a spade!

I'm not much on either Toby or Randy. What i do find interesting is that this poster shows up attacking toby after toby's and knight's falling out, and that the poster has a Tennessee email address, which coincidentally is where Knight is headquartered. Just doesnt smell right to me. seems more like a smear campaigm. maybe modern politics has affected muzzleloading more than we know.

Not sure he has any interest in black powder as much as lawsuits, and squabbles.

People that come on the forum with an agenda Grouse are not here to participate in black powder discussions. I have a sneaky suspicion who the real Jim Beam really is. Truth told they are the ones who are violating forum policy.
Obviously it would be hard for you to understand that concept.
Hypothetically, what if someone came on the forum and in their first post they claimed that you were a fraud and then went on to say that the new Knight Rifles had the worst service and parts department of any muzzleloader company. Would you think that was perfectly ok?

And who do you think that is?

This just goes to show you how cut throat one company is IMO.

You and others have already bashed Knight Rifles customer service. I'm not going to bash them, but they do need help. New company, new people, they have stuff to learn no doubt. I have met them and they are all very nice people. In time they will be just fine.

I have never bashed their customer service. I have only reported my own experience with them when trying to buy a part I needed. This is totally within forum policy because it was my own personal experience.

To have fun and learn something. So far it's been great! We live in a country that protects our right to free speech and although we may not always agree there is nothing wrong with debating an issue that is bothering one of us. Who knows, we might ALL learn something!
