I have heard that he was going to produce some thors with a larger bell skirt section so you can size them to different sized bores, like the FPB. Anyone know if he ever got those into production?

Nuttin yet that I know of. He was going to use a Graphite " black Thor" to make a one size fits all but Im not sure how that has turned out.

Thanks, I will email him and see where he is at. I am now planning a buck and cow muzzleloading hunt in CO and would sure like to use the 300 gr ballistic tip but even the .503 is too small for my Knight LRH.

Cows are easy to kill, but if you don't want to take any chances >-------------------------------------------------------------> http://www.muzzleloading-bullets.com/

I have tried no escuses and they practically fall out of the barrel on this gun. Especially since I like to shoot BH 209, that doesn't work. Guess I could try and paper wrap the bullet. Also thought about trying Bull Shop, but they are so hard to order.

Try knurling the Thors up for a tighter fit. This way you'll get a perfect fit for the BH209 to go off cleanly.

What unit you hunting?

How would you knurl a solid copper bullet?

with a bastard file or 2. The smokeless guys are using the Thors and doing this.

Interesting read. Just wonder about the uniformity, but may have to try it.

Thors are tough. I guess you could knurl them with enough pressure.

I know i've had some Thors fit so tight when I was trying to get the right size I thought it was going to get stuck in the barrel. It barely left any rifling marks on it.

However, rifling isn't a file, so it will probably work ok. I should have tried it before giving my Thors away. Hi Jon.
