Walmart cva

Was in walmart today and found a cva wolf blued/camo open sight rifle for 125. Is that a good deal? It has the red clearance tag. Dont know if i need another inline but who knows. What do you guys think?

MountainDevil54 03-03-2012 07:50 PM

Yeah thats a real good deal. Especially if its the new model.

corey012778 03-03-2012 08:06 PM

that is an great deal, new or used. local gunshops sale used cva wolfs for 150 to 250

HDMontana 03-03-2012 09:15 PM

Great deal. Normal Walmart price for the camo one is $195.00. I bought mine on clearance in December for $150.00.

If you don't have a Wolf you need one. Another inline I mean. It would make an inexpensive yet accurate addition to your collection . And would be a rifle you could take on bad weather outings or any other outings where your concern for the rifle would keep you from taking a more expensive one.

That sounds like I great deal. I am sure there are a lot of forum members that would jump at a chance to pick one up for that price. Especially if it has the quick remove breech. From all reports I have read and one brief experience shooting a clone of it... they are a good rifle.

It's a good deal! I found a CVA Kodiak Blued/Camo in Mossy Oak Obsession a few years back for a great deal too and bought it.
The thing I wondered is I've never seen another Kodiak Blued in Mossy Oak.
Better HURRY befor it's gone!

Since I live in Montana also, you could tell me where that Wal-Mart is and I will take care of them having it. I would do that just to be nice and you won't have to think about it any more. Just a thought.:happy0001:

Suggest you look in Billings.

I hate you ron. Why did u have to tell? lol. The question is which walmart. There is three.

HDMontana 03-04-2012 08:06 PM

No worries. It would cost me 50 bucks in gas to drive over there if I did want it. I was just teasing you about it. I would not let it sit there long though. Someone will snatch it up.

HDMontana 03-07-2012 08:50 AM

Hey 50, did you end up buying that wolf?

Muley Hunter 03-07-2012 08:55 AM

Doesn't Walmart ship to your local store for free, so you can pick it up?

HDMontana 03-07-2012 09:13 PM

They might, not sure on clearance items, but I already picked one up at the local Walmart in December. They were at $150.00 then. Still was a good deal at that price.

corey012778 03-07-2012 09:28 PM

they won't, when I was shopping around. I looked at there site. all guns are in store only.

checked today, could not even pull up an muzzleloader. may not entered something right

HDMontana 03-08-2012 07:20 AM

They are there online, but everyone says see store for prices. Individual Walmarts have the ability to change prices to whatever they need to at any time. This allows stores to blow out product when they need more room or have just had it to long. I used to be an assistant manager with them years ago and that was how it worked then so I believe it is probably the same way now.

Muley Hunter 03-08-2012 07:36 AM

I have one Walmart near me in Salida. About 30 miles away, but they don't carry any ML stuff. :(

I'm not sure why, because this is a good ML hunting area.

50calty 03-08-2012 04:48 PM

No, I passed up the rifle. As far as I know its still there. Can't justify the need for another inline muzzleloader. Have my TC Bonecollector and CVA Optima pistol. Just cant pull the trigger on the wolf.

HDMontana 03-08-2012 07:47 PM

It is a good deal. On another forum sight, guys are talking about their local Walmarts selling the same gun for $99.00. I don't think I could pass on it if it was that price.

Heck I paid $99 for my forst CVA Staghorn, then when the Stag Horn Mag came out it was $109 at wal-mart. My wal-mart was cleaned out of ML's right befor late ML Season, they always sell out then.

HDMontana 03-10-2012 08:45 PM

We don't have a separate muzzleloader season. That's probably why the stuff hangs around out here.

Catus Magnus 04-17-2012 04:19 PM

Best Walmart deal I ever found, around 2005: I got a CVA Buckhorn for 79 bucks, and all five pounds of Pyrodex RS @$6/pound
